Wok without the Work
For a super fast version of stir fried vegetables without all the chopping – try using a bag of ready cut coleslaw from the salad section of your grocery store!
You won’t believe how quickly this comes together when using coleslaw as the base for this vegetable dish.
Tonight I added an onion which was thinly sliced and browned but you could add just about anything to this. Next time I might try red peppers or some bean sprouts or thinly sliced bok choy.
Sauté onion or other veg if using until about ½ way done and starting to brown. Add cabbage and mix together. Stir fry or steam to desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper and a drizzle of sesame oil.
This was served over brown rice with some sautéed soy sauce ginger pork.
